We made it to Adelaide – Day 6

Peterborough

The management at the Peterborough caravan park had experience dealing with EVs and were quite ready to charge us an extra $20 for plugging the car in over night.

They put us in a very new unit that they said was built from shipping containers. It certainly was a very comfortable and new unit. They are obviously doing some development work there.

The car seemed to take longer to charge there than it did at Wilcannia. However by 8am we had 93% SOC of charge so that was plenty to get us to Adelaide.

The drive to Adelaide was mostly uneventful and took about 3 hours. Lorraine drove most of the way. We were a little displeased with the navigation app because it took us over a couple Ks of dirt road. But we made it to Adelaide in good time.

The drive through Adelaide is very easy now, mostly four lane highway.
