Adelaide to Canberra – Day 3

Above: charging at Wagga Wagga with churches in the background

Up early this morning. We were keen to get back into the Wagga Wagga charger before any of the locals got there. Somewhat pleased to get away from the Airport Tourist xxx . I took a little time to get to sleep but once I did, I didn’t wake up till 5.45.  We arose at 6am and managed to get away by about 6.45. The charger at Wagga Wagga is in a parking lot near the Murrumbidgee River and also near a number of local churches. The buildings are clearly very old and point the Wagga Wagga being a successful community for many years.
it was also good to walk along a levee bank beside the Murrumbidgee River. Lots of interesting stuff there.
as we were about to leave, some locals pulled up in their Model 3. They were very interested in our car and stayed talking with them for a good while.

Our next stop was Jugiong. I have never heard of the place and it is no wonder because it is a small community off the Hume Highway. As expected it had a NRMA charger in the park and we took advantage of it. It was a pleasant stop as well. We didn’t need to charge and could have made Canberra from Wagga Wagga on one charge. But it was good to get to Canberra with a good charge. We have not seen many charging stations for Canberra listed on PlugShare. I guess we will find them.
