7pm on Saturday 19th February 2022, was the night we had been looking forward to. We had the EVDirect website lined up on the computer so we didn’t miss anything. I was expecting that the release would be live streamed but not on the EVDirect website. I managed to find Tesla Tom’s Youtube site and there it was. He had to struggle to find his way through the crowd and we got a look at the Atto 3 and hear what EVDirect CEO Luke Todd had to say.

As well as the Atto 3 present in the showroom, they took the opportunity to display the BYD Dolphin which will probably be renamed the Atto 2 when it is released in Australia later this year. The car looks great in the colour that they brought in.

There were lots of beautiful people in attendance and Tesla Tom didn’t miss out on interviewing some of them. Even Kamal made it to the show,
