Gunnedah

We left Gunnedah 7:45 and aimed for Coonabarabran, fully charged ad the temperature was a very pleasant 22c.  In fact, overnight the temperature got down far enough for me to get up and add some more blankets  

Coonabarabran

The charge point at Coonabarabran was very easy to find and once again we didn’t have to wait.  We arrived at 9am with 75% SOC. By the time we were at 93%, a family in a Tesla pulled up.  We decided that we had enough so unplugged and talked with him for a while.  Most people are interested in hearing about the Atto 3.  We had a 250k drive to Nyngan.  People we spoke to were surprised that Nyngan had a charger and I face they had a pair of NRMA 75 Kw chargers, somewhat faster than the 50Kw charges we had experienced up to date.  We charged there for about 1 hour. We had lunch and sat in the shade of a big old tree, very pleasant.  Nyngan is about the same population size as Gayndah  it would be great to have a pair of chargers in Gayndah.

We left Nyngan with 100% SOC.  

Cobar

it was 130k drive to Cobar and by this time of day the temperature had gotten up to 36/37C.  I was keen to see how the car handled these temperatures.  We had the air con well and truly running to keep us comfortable.  The temperature didn’t seem to have any effect on the usage of charge, in fact we arrived in Cobar after driving for an hour and a half in temperatures in the upper thirties with charge usage similar to that in the twenties.

We checked into our cabin at the Cobar Caravan Park and went back to charge up to 100% read for the long trip tomorrow.
