BYDAutomotive have advised that they will have, within the next twelve months, a number of “Experience Centres” across Australia where potential customers can view and test drive the cars. At present there is only one BYD model available in Australia but we are assured that there will be another two models available over the next year. While they are promising that orders will be taken for the ATTO 2 (Dolphin) and ATTO 4 (Seal) by the end of 2022, one would have to believe that given the difficulties the company has had keeping up with promises made for the delivery of the ATTO 3, delivery within the next twelve months would be most likely.

One of the big changes that has been made during the past six months since the ATTO 3 was released is the business relationship created between Eagers Automotive and BYDAutomotive (EVDirect). This has provided for the future creation of up to twelve “Experience Centres”. Four will be in NSW, two each in QLD and VIC and one each in ACT, SA, WA and TAS.

The first one to open was the launch showroom in Darlinghurst Sydney back in April followed by Indooroopilly in Brisbane and Robina on the Gold Coast.
